Megan J. Phillips, PA-C
Megan is a magna cum laude graduate of the King’s College Physician Assistant Program, and received a Certificate of Completion from the Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine Post Graduate Surgical Physician Assistant Residency Program. She was awarded the Linda Brandt Memorial Award during her residency year for her exemplary spirit and dedication to patient care and the P.A. profession, and earned the Scott Darroff Memorial Teaching Award as a Staff Physician Assistant at Norwalk Hospital for her tireless efforts in the education of P.A. surgical residents.
Megan is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly two decades of experience in general, vascular, and plastic surgery. Prior to joining Northeast Plastic Surgery Center, she worked closely with Dr. Pathy during her time as a Staff Physician Assistant at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, and has been an integral member of the plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Old Lyme. She has a keen interest in all forms of breast reconstruction, as well as other aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
A member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants, Megan is a staff member in good standing at both hospital and ambulatory surgery center locations.
Megan assists Dr. Pathy and Dr. Shah in the operating room, and provides both pre-operative and post-operative care in the hospital and outpatient settings. In addition, she is pleased to perform office-based minor procedures. Megan is passionate about the holistic care and education of patients, and believes that open communication is the key to perioperative success.
