Mini Tummy Tuck (Mini-Abdominoplasty)
This procedure involves utilizing a shorter scar than a traditional abdominoplasty, and is reserved only for a subset of patients seeking abdominal contouring. Through this shorter scar, the skin and fat below the navel is lifted, and a segment of the excess tissue below the navel is removed to create a more flattened contour.
In this procedure, a bulge between the “six pack” muscles limited to below the navel can be tightened, if necessary. Liposuction is often utilized as an adjunct to this procedure to achieve the desired results.
