Megan J. Phillips, PA-C
Megan is a magna cum laude graduate of the King’s College Physician Assistant Program, and received a Certificate of Completion from the Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine Post Graduate Surgical Physician Assistant Residency Program. She was awarded the Linda Brandt Memorial Award during her residency year for her exemplary spirit and dedication to patient care and the P.A. profession, and earned the Scott Darroff Memorial Teaching Award as a Staff Physician Assistant at Norwalk Hospital for her tireless efforts in the education of P.A. surgical residents.
Megan is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly two decades of experience in general, vascular, and plastic surgery. Prior to joining Northeast Plastic Surgery Center, she worked closely with Dr. Pathy during her time as a Staff Physician Assistant at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, and has been an integral member of the plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Old Lyme. She has a keen interest in all forms of breast reconstruction, as well as other aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
A member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants, Megan is a staff member in good standing at both hospital and ambulatory surgery center locations.
Megan assists Dr. Pathy and Dr. Shah in the operating room, and provides both pre-operative and post-operative care in the hospital and outpatient settings. In addition, she is pleased to perform minor office-based procedures. Megan is passionate about the holistic care and education of patients, and believes that open communication is the key to perioperative success.
Debbie Zavistoski, Office Manager
Debbie is a 1999 graduate of Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute. She has been involved in Office Administration for over 20 years with simultaneous extensive customer service experience. An accomplished Office Manager since 2012 with a notoriously tireless work ethic, she also serves as the Surgical Coordinator for Northeast Plastic Surgery Center.
Maddie Stringfellow, CMA
Maddie received her Certified Medical Assistant degree from Porter and Chester Institute in 2010. Before discovering her passion in plastic and reconstructive surgery, she previously worked in an internal medicine practice where she laid the groundwork of her medical knowledge, and developed a strong interest in both preoperative and postoperative care.
Ellen Caraballo, CMA
Ellen received her Certified Medical Assistant degree from the Berdan Institute in 2004. She has gained extensive experience in multiple medical specialties and practices, including Family Practice, Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and at the New London Cancer Center. Prior to joining the Northeast Plastic Surgery Center team, she worked in a Primary Care practice specializing in Women’s Health, where she further developed her fondness for aesthetic and reconstructive care.
