Megan J. Phillips, PA-C
Megan is a magna cum laude graduate of the King’s College Physician Assistant Program and received a Certificate of Completion from the Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine Post Graduate Surgical Physician Assistant Residency Program. She was awarded the Linda Brandt Memorial Award during her residency year for her exemplary spirit and dedication to patient care and the P.A. profession, and earned the Scott Darroff Memorial Teaching Award as a Staff Physician Assistant at Norwalk Hospital for her tireless efforts in the education of P.A. surgical residents.
Megan is a board certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of experience in general, vascular, and plastic surgery. Prior to joining Northeast Plastic Surgery Center, she worked closely with Dr. Pathy during her time as a Staff Physician Assistant at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, and is excited to now join him and the rest of the team in his plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Old Lyme. She has a keen interest in breast reconstruction and oncoplastic surgery, as well as all forms of aesthetic procedures.
A member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants, Megan is a staff member in good standing at both hospital and ambulatory surgery center locations.
Megan assists Dr. Pathy in the operating room, and provides both pre-operative and post-operative care in the hospital and outpatient settings. In addition, she is pleased to perform minor office-based procedures. Megan is passionate about the holistic care and education of patients and believes that open communication is the key to perioperative success.
Debbie Zavistoski, Office Manager
Debbie is a 1999 graduate of Ridley and Lowell Business and Technical Institute. She has been involved in Office Administration for 15 years with simultaneous extensive customer service experience. An accomplished Office Manager since 2012 with a famously tireless work ethic, she also serves as the Surgical Coordinator for Northeast Plastic Surgery Center.
Maddie Stringfellow, CMA
Maddie received her Certified Medical Assistant degree from Porter and Chester Institute in 2010. Before discovering her passion in plastic and reconstructive surgery, she previously worked in an internal medicine practice where she laid the groundwork of her medical knowledge, and developed an strong interest in both preoperative and postoperative care.
Vanassa J. Sebastian, RN, APRN
Vanassa is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who specializes in medical aesthetics. She is an honors graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Biology with a specialty in Anesthesia. In addition, she is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
She has always had a passion for beauty and medical aesthetics, and has received extensive training in both basic and advanced techniques in Botox, dermal fillers, and cosmetic lasers. Vanassa has had the privilege of training with world-renowned medical aesthetic injectors, including Dr. Mauricio DeMaio and Dr. Deborah Sherman.
Vanassa is no stranger when it comes to beauty. She is a former Mrs. Connecticut and a Top 10 Mrs. America Semi-Finalist. Selected to be one of six cast members on Bravo TV’s reality show Game of Crowns, she has also been featured on Extra, Entertainment Tonight, E! News, OKTV, Insider, as well as many other news outlets across the country.
